We, SwissShore AG, collect, process and use your personal data only with your consent or in connection with your order, for the purposes agreed with you, or if any other legal basis exists in accordance with the GDPR; this is carried out in compliance with the provisions of data protection and civil law.

We only collect such personal data as is necessary for the execution and fulfilment of our business services or that you have made available to us voluntarily.

Personal data comprises all data that contains individual details of personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, video recordings, photos, voice recordings of persons and biometric data such as fingerprints. Sensitive data, such as health data or data in connection with criminal proceedings, may also be included.

As a customer or a data subject in general, you have the right to be informed at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to rectification, data portability, objection, restriction of processing as well as blocking or erasure of incorrect or unlawfully processed data.

Should there be any changes to your personal data, please notify us accordingly.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, erasure, rectification, objection and/or data transmission, in the latter case, provided that it does not entail disproportionate effort or expense, may be directed to the company address provided under section 10 of this privacy notice.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates applicable data protection laws or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the option of filing a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible. In Switzerland this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).

Your personal data is protected by the adoption of appropriate organisational and technical precautions. These precautions apply in particular to protection against unauthorised, illegal or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation.
Despite our efforts to maintain a consistently high level of due diligence, it cannot be ruled out that information that you provide to us via the internet may be viewed and used by others.

Please note that, for this reason, we accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g. hacking of email accounts or telephone, interception of fax transmissions).

We will not process the data made available to us for any purposes other than those covered by the contract or by your consent or otherwise by a provision in accordance with the GDPR. Excluded from this is the use of data for statistical purposes, provided that the supplied data has been rendered anonymous. 

In order to fulfil your order, it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g. banks, insurance companies, service providers whose services we use and to whom we make data available, etc.). Your data will be forwarded only in accordance with the GDPR, in particular where necessary to fulfil your order or on the basis of your prior agreement.

In addition, you are advised that, in the course of our business activities, we also regularly obtain factual and case-related information referring to you from third parties.

Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data are located outside of your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in Switzerland. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries in which the EU Commission has decided that an adequate level of data protection exists, or we take measures to ensure that all recipients provide an adequate level of data protection, for which purpose we use standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).

We endeavour to ensure that data breaches are detected swiftly and, if necessary, reported immediately to you and the responsible supervisory authority, taking into account the data categories that are affected in each case. 

We will not keep data longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations and to defend against any liability claims.
